I.
I was on an enormous boat, moving by. Families lived and stored their food on this ship. My friend and I were playing a game in which we threw things at the large stacks of food in an attempt to knock them over, off the side of the boat. No one seemed to mind at first. Then I threw a full beer bottle at a refrigerator. It broke, dousing the appliance, as well as a nearby pregnant girl, with foul-smelling beer. The girl wasn't very upset, but her mother was furious. I began to wipe up the mess with some towels. The girl was the victim girl from the movie "To Kill a Mockingbird."
II.
I am walking through downtown Ventura, rather depressed. It's cloudy, and I'm alone. I find my way to some back alley, where I see a cart for some celebration or contest. It has the world's largest scoop of vanilla ice cream. It's at least 3 feet in diameter. Cones are provided. I take a waffle cone with the top dipped in chocolate and nuts, and scoop up some ice cream. It's delicious, soft. I'm much happier already and continue walking. As I pass by a hotel, I hear familiar music from the lobby. I think, "Is that Thelonious Monster?" I enter and find that I am right. The band is playing a free concert in the hotel. I listen and eat my ice cream, incredibly happy.
